Prompting for Writing
Generating high-quality articles, emails, social posts, and creative content with AI.
Data Insight Mode
Input raw CSV or table data and ask: 'What are the three most surprising trends?'
AI is an incredible writing partner for blogs, emails, social media, product descriptions, and more. The key to great AI writing is providing clear direction on tone, audience, length, and purpose. Without these, AI defaults to generic, bland output.
The Writing Prompt Formula
[Role] + [Audience] + [Format] + [Topic] + [Tone] + [Length] + [Special Instructions]
Example:You are an expert tech blogger. Write a 500-word blog post for beginners about why learning Python is valuable in 2025. Use a friendly, encouraging tone. Include 3 subheadings and end with a strong call-to-action. Avoid jargon.
Writing Use Cases & Templates
Blog Post: Write a [length] blog post about [topic] for [audience]. Tone: [tone]. Include [H2 headings, bullet points, conclusion].
Email: Write a professional follow-up email to [person] after [event]. Keep it under 150 words. Friendly but formal tone.
Social Media: Write 5 tweet-length captions for a post about [topic]. Target audience: [audience]. Make them engaging and use 2-3 relevant hashtags.
Product Description: Write a compelling 100-word product description for [product]. Highlight [key features]. Tone: persuasive.
Ask for Multiple Versions
Always ask for 3-5 variations: 'Write 3 different versions of this email subject line.' Then pick the best. AI is great at generating options quickly — use that to your advantage.
